Privacy Notice

Effective 28 June 2026 · Version 2026-06-28

1. Who handles information

Parcelgig provides the platform and processes account, security and service information. A logistics company normally decides why sender, receiver, staff and parcel information is entered in its workspace and is responsible for its own privacy notice and lawful basis.

2. Information collected

We may process account names, business details, email addresses, phone numbers, country, branch assignments, authentication records, parcel and waybill details, payment confirmations, collection records, proxy identification evidence, support messages, device and security logs, audit history and subscription information.

3. Why information is used

Information is used to provide and secure accounts; create, track and release parcels; send operational notices; generate reports; prevent fraud; provide support; maintain audit records; bill subscriptions; meet legal obligations; and improve reliability. The lawful basis depends on the country and may include contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests and consent.

4. Sharing and international processing

Information may be shared with authorised company users and vetted infrastructure, authentication, hosting, messaging, email, payment, monitoring and support providers. Data may be processed outside the user’s country only with safeguards required by applicable law. Parcelgig does not sell personal information.

5. Retention and security

We keep information only as long as needed for the stated purposes, dispute handling, fraud prevention, accounting and legal obligations. Access controls, encryption in transit, tenant separation, audit logs and backups are used, but no system can promise absolute security.

6. Individual rights

Depending on applicable law, individuals may request information, access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or review of certain automated decisions. Identity and authority may be verified before a request is completed. Complaints may also be made to the relevant supervisory authority.

7. Children and sensitive parcels

Parcelgig is intended for business users who are legally able to operate an account. Do not upload unnecessary sensitive information. Proxy identification should be limited to what is reasonably required for secure collection and applicable law.

8. Country coverage

Privacy obligations vary by country. Parcelgig’s baseline follows transparency, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, retention control, security and accountability principles. Country-specific assessments and addenda must be completed before launching in a new jurisdiction.

9. Contact

Privacy and data-rights requests may be submitted through the in-app Support page. Before commercial launch, Parcelgig should publish a monitored privacy email and the registered company’s legal address here.
